Vinyl Records is an independent electronic dance music label. We put out house, techno, electro and bass, and we come in at the stage where a good idea still needs a finished record built around it.

One rule decides everything: a track gets signed for how it sounds, not for who sent it. Most of the catalogue arrived as demos from names nobody knew. Some of those producers now release on Spinnin' Records, Armada Music, Revealed and Black Hole Recordings, and are played by Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, R3HAB, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Blasterjaxx. Our releases have charted on Beatport, reached Spotify editorial playlists, and picked up airplay on BBC Radio 1Xtra, DJ Mag and Jacked Radio.

In practice we work more like a workshop than a logo on a sleeve. Every demo gets listened to. When a track has something in it, we send notes on arrangement, mix and mastering and keep going until the record is done. After that we take care of mastering, artwork, distribution to over 130 stores and platforms, playlist and radio promotion, video, and the slow work of getting a release in front of DJs and listeners.

Artists keep control of their music. Deals are per release, terms are written to be read, and reporting is open. No exclusivity, no contracts designed to confuse.

We are based in Los Angeles and work with producers across the US, Europe and Latin America. The catalogue runs from club tools to melodic records, held together by one standard: it goes out when it sounds finished.
